Praia da Oura is located just east of Albufeira on the Algarve. Praia da Oura means golden beach. This location is famous for its wonderful expanse of golden sands and perfect choice for either relaxing on the beach, or enjoying range of activities on offer.
At this beautiful beach area you get the opportunity to enjoy variety of water sports like diving, snorkeling, surfing, skiing and swimming. Walking and trekking are other options. There are many smaller quieter coves to be found around Praia d’Oura, and Albufeira can be reached on foot along the coast.
This is the best location for sun seekers. June, July and August are the hottest months with temperature of 30C mark.
