Twenty Britons Arrested During Ibiza Drug Raid
Tuesday, August 31st, 2010More than two dozen Britons were arrested during the drug raid which is being held regularly in the weekends, the total suspects were taken on Saturday during a major police operation and the case is due in the court today.
Four women were taken away after a raid involving a police helicopter at an apartment in the Cala de Bou area which is near the resort of San Antonio. Several other suspects have been arrested in the bar region which has been located in the back side of the island.
An panel of judge has been appointed to see that whether the accused have to be taken on Remand or they have to be left on bail. The total number of policemen who are involved In this operation are supposed to be trailing the suspects for certain weeks. Some others were arrested in a flat at the west end of the island.
The joint operation has been completed by Spanish National Guard with the help of UK serious organized crime agency, both of these agencies having intercommunication with each other have completed the operation.
